Our Mission

The Sensory Project Is The Future Of Sensory Integration.

It all started with Rachel, a pediatric occupational therapy assistant, and her mom, Sandy, sewing upcycled weighted vests that didn’t look like the average weighted vests. Working from Boise and Spokane, the mother-daughter duo mailed vests back and forth for a year and a half to fulfill each order by hand, and the brand took off!

The Sensory Project found an American manufacturer to help design and manufacture the highest quality products, in order to help more children struggling with their sensory processing abilities.

Rachel and Jessica, both Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, created The Sensory Project Show Podcast, in hopes of helping families and therapists navigate the sensory world. They interview parents, therapists, and specialists, as well as answer the questions YOU have as a parent, desperate for help. With over 150,000 downloads, The Sensory Project Show is changing lives across the world!

In addition to the podcast, Rachel and Jessica created The Sensory Project CLUB! Otherwise known as the podcast on steroids :) They wanted a place to offer exclusive resources, ideas, activities, and visuals for therapists, parents, and educators to have access to monthly.

You can download our freebies and handouts from the podcast HERE!
